The Public Relations team of Rasan Sanitary Faucets announces to sports enthusiasts that Mostafa Ebrahimi, a member of Iran’s national track and field team, participated in the Kazan Cup in Kazakhstan on the 14th and 16th of Tir (Persian calendar). Following this competition, he continued to represent the national team in Iranian athletics events, winning first place in the 800-meter race and securing the gold medal.
The Iranian national athletics team, aiming to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics, traveled to Kazakhstan with 14 athletes. Among them were:
- Maryam Toosi – 200 meters
- Reza Ghasemi – 100 and 200 meters
- Ali Khodivor – 200 meters
- Sajad Hashemi – 400 meters
- Mostafa Ebrahimi – 800 meters
- Sajad Moradi – 800 meters
Rassan Sanitary Faucets, which had previously announced its sponsorship of Mostafa Ebrahimi, supported him during this tournament. Mostafa achieved a time of 1:49, securing first place, just 3 seconds shy of the Olympic qualifying record of 1:46 for the 800 meters. Notably, in a previous competition in Baku, Azerbaijan, also supported by Rassan, he ran 1:47, which was still below the Olympic qualifying standard.
So far, Iranian athletes have secured 7 Olympic quotas for the 2016 Rio Games, making the remaining competitions critical opportunities for qualification.
Rassan expresses its best wishes for success to this talented young athlete and all Iranian national athletes, hoping that through its support and their dedication, they will bring pride and honor to Iran. With continued effort and support, it is hoped that Mostafa Ebrahimi will achieve Olympic qualification and success in Rio 2016, marking a proud moment in Rassan’s history of supporting sports.
