The Public Relations team of Rasan Sanitary Faucets announces to sports enthusiasts that Mostafa Ebrahimi, a member of Iran’s national track and field team, participated in the Kazan Cup in Kazakhstan on the 14th and 16th of Tir (Persian calendar). Following this competition, he continued to represent the national team in Iranian athletics events, winning first place in the 800-meter race and securing the gold medal.

The Iranian national athletics team, aiming to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics, traveled to Kazakhstan with 14 athletes. Among them were:

  • Maryam Toosi – 200 meters
  • Reza Ghasemi – 100 and 200 meters
  • Ali Khodivor – 200 meters
  • Sajad Hashemi – 400 meters
  • Mostafa Ebrahimi – 800 meters
  • Sajad Moradi – 800 meters

Rassan Sanitary Faucets, which had previously announced its sponsorship of Mostafa Ebrahimi, supported him during this tournament. Mostafa achieved a time of 1:49, securing first place, just 3 seconds shy of the Olympic qualifying record of 1:46 for the 800 meters. Notably, in a previous competition in Baku, Azerbaijan, also supported by Rassan, he ran 1:47, which was still below the Olympic qualifying standard.

So far, Iranian athletes have secured 7 Olympic quotas for the 2016 Rio Games, making the remaining competitions critical opportunities for qualification.

Rassan expresses its best wishes for success to this talented young athlete and all Iranian national athletes, hoping that through its support and their dedication, they will bring pride and honor to Iran. With continued effort and support, it is hoped that Mostafa Ebrahimi will achieve Olympic qualification and success in Rio 2016, marking a proud moment in Rassan’s history of supporting sports.

The Role of Rassan Sanitary Faucets in Cancer Prevention

February 4th is recognized worldwide as World Cancer Day. The purpose of this day is to protect human lives from millions of preventable cancer-related deaths by raising awareness, educating people about cancer, and encouraging governments and individuals worldwide to take action against this disease.

Different types of cancers have various symptoms, and colored ribbons—such as pink, orange, and purple—are used globally to raise awareness about certain types of cancer, symbolizing hope for a future free of this disease.

Faucets, which are in constant contact with water, are vital for human life. However, if these faucets are made from toxic metals such as lead, zinc, tin, etc., they can contribute to various diseases and cancers, especially leukemia. Unfortunately, many faucet manufacturers use unhealthy and hazardous metals in their products, often motivated by lower costs.

To prevent the production of unsafe faucets that disregard consumer health, international standards have been developed and are enforced by national regulatory bodies. In Iran, the National Standards Organization regulates and monitors the precise amounts of metals in brass alloys used in faucet manufacturing to ensure public health.

At Rassan Industrial Group, we take pride in fully adhering to these standards, which has earned us recognition as a National Exemplary Standard Unit and a Provincial Exemplary Standard Unit in Tehran. We hope that all faucet manufacturers produce these essential household elements responsibly, prioritizing the health of users—especially women and children—and ensuring that sanitary faucets remain safe for daily use.
